On this 16 day safari tour you will be able to travel from Windhoek right through to Victoria Falls. This 16 day accommodated safari provides a fantastic insight into the stunning landscapes and atmosphere of this remarkable land of rugged mountains and spectacular wildlife.
Guests will enjoy a full day of game viewing at the famous Chobe National Park and enjoy afternoon sundowner drives on guest farms. Guest of this 16 day safari will be accommodated in lodges.

Day 1: Windhoek, NamibiaYou will depart from Windhoek in the morning 07:45am and drive via Witvlei and Gobabis to Kalahri Bushbreaks, approximately 25 km away from the Buitepos/Mamuno border post. After arrival you will have some time to relax. In the afternoon you can enjoy a nature drive on the farm. Accommodation at Kalahari Bushbreaks Guestfarm. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. |
Day 2: Ghanzi, BotswanaPrepare for an early departure. After the border post procedures the drive will continue via Tshootsha (formerly Kalkfontein) to Ghanzi. In the afternoon a Bushmen trail will take place followed by traditional dances and a dinner. Afterwards transfer to the lodge. Overnight at Tautona Lodge. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. |
Day 3: Maun, Botswana
In the morning game viewing drive and afterwards continue on this Africa backpacker tour
to Maun via D’kar, Kuke Gate and Toteng. In the afternoon there is sufficient time available for a scenic flight over the delta. (Would offer this flight optional). Overnight at Maun Lodge. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. |
Day 4: Moremi Wildlife Reserve, BotswanaAfter breakfast full day excursion with a 4x4 vehicle to the Moremi Wildlife Reserve with lunch packs en route. Departure at 06:00am. Dinner, overnight and breakfast in Maun. |
Day 5: Nata, Botswana
After breakfast drive via Motopi and past the Nxai Pan Park, Makgadikgadi Pans National Park and Gweta to Nata. After lunch the guests have time to relax on this Africa backpacker tour. In the afternoon 4x4 vehicles will take the group to the nearby area for a nature drive. Dinner and overnight in the luxurious tents with en-suite bathrooms at the Nata Lodge. |
Day 6: Chobe National Park, BotswanaAfter breakfast this Africa backpacker tour will proceed northwards through the Sibuyu Forest Reserve, the Kazuma Forest Reserve and the Kasane Forest Reserve Extension to Kasane. After lunch time to relax and in the afternoon the guests will be taken on a boat trip on the Chobe in the Chobe National Park. Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. |
Day 7: Chobe National Park, BotswanaAfter breakfast excursion in 4x4 vehicles into the Chobe National Park. In the afternoon boat trip on the Chobe. Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. |
Day 8: Victoria Falls, ZambiaDrive via Kazungula border post to Victoria Falls. Take part in visits to the falls and the Arts and Craft Village. Overnight at Ilala Lodge. Breakfast. |
